  • 2026 International Conference on Life Sciences and Health Engineering

    (IC-LSHE 2026)

Session 1: Molecular Foundations of Life: Forum on Molecular and Cellular Life Sciences (MCLS-LSHE 2026)
    Venue: Los Angeles, USA
    Date: September 21, 2026
    Submission Deadline: September 1, 2026
  • Session 1: Molecular Foundations of Life: Forum on Molecular and Cellular Life Sciences

Molecular Foundations of Life: Forum on Molecular and Cellular Life Sciences serves as a premier platform within IC-LSHE 2026 for researchers, scientists, and academics to explore the fundamental mechanisms that govern living systems at the molecular and cellular levels. This session, held in the dynamic city of Los Angeles, USA, delves into the intricate world of biological processes, from the elegant machinery of gene expression to the complex interactions within cellular ecosystems.

As an integral component of the 2026 International Conference on Life Sciences and Health Engineering, this forum aligns with the central theme of "Converging Technologies for Transformative Healthcare." It provides a focused arena for examining the molecular foundations upon which all transformative advances in health engineering are built. Participants will engage with cutting-edge research spanning multiple disciplines, including cellular and molecular biology, synthetic biology, bioinformatics, and computational biology. The session aims to bridge the gap between theoretical understanding and practical applications, fostering dialogue that can translate fundamental discoveries into meaningful advancements. Los Angeles, with its renowned academic institutions and thriving biotechnology ecosystem, provides an ideal backdrop for this gathering of scientific minds.

    Key Focus Areas:

This forum encompasses two primary research domains that together provide a comprehensive understanding of life's most fundamental processes. The Cellular, Molecular & Synthetic Biology track explores the building blocks of life, examining how genetic information is stored, expressed, and regulated. Participants will discover the latest advancements in gene editing technologies, synthetic biology applications, and the emerging field of microbiome engineering. The Bioinformatics & Computational Biology track addresses the data-driven revolution in life sciences, presenting innovative approaches to analyzing vast biological datasets, developing predictive models, and applying artificial intelligence to accelerate discovery.

    1. Cellular, Molecular & Synthetic Biology:

    • Synthetic Biology: Genetic circuit design, metabolic engineering, and synthetic genomics.
    • Gene Editing & Cell Therapy: CRISPR-Cas technologies, CAR-T cell therapy, and ethical considerations.
    • Microbiome Engineering: Modulating the human microbiome for therapeutic benefit.
    • Molecular Diagnostics: Development of assays for early detection of pathogens and diseases.

    2. Bioinformatics & Computational Biology:

    • Next-generation sequencing data analysis, personalized genomics, and systems biology.
    • AI & Machine Learning in Healthcare: Predictive analytics for disease diagnosis, drug discovery, and medical image analysis.
    • Computational Modeling: In silico modeling of biological processes, disease progression, and drug interactions.
    • Big Data in Life Sciences: Managing, integrating, and interpreting large-scale datasets from omics technologies, EHRs, and clinical trials.
